Question: Will it hurt my oral health in any way if I decide to avoid cosmetic dentistry? I am considering it for the future but I am not ready at the moment.
Answer: No. Cosmetic care does not improve your oral health. As a result, avoiding it will not yield damage to the wellbeing of your smile.
Question: If I don’t choose cosmetic dentistry treatments right now to fix problems, is it possible for them to become worse? Is it possible that I may require a more intensive treatment in the future if I don’t start now?
Answer: It is. If your smile is already stained, the discoloration may become worse over time. Or, for instance, a chip may become bigger. However, some issues may remain exactly the same. As a result, we encourage you to talk with us about a plan for your smile.
Question: Are there any obvious consequences that I might be overlooking when it comes to avoiding cosmetic dentistry treatments that can make my smile look better?
Answer: You may be forgetting the fact that choosing to avoid cosmetic care may not harm you physically but it can take a toll on your confidence, your emotional well being, and even your success. When you feel wonderful about your appearance, it’s easy to feel good about yourself and to act accordingly.
